Another year has passed and we are now in the year 3 of the N21HV construction. As I did on 10/23/00, I would like to take a moment to reflect on the progress during the past year.

strake was still awaiting final sealing, and no power plant.
Below is how it looks at the end of the year 2. The top is on, the door is hang and the power plant is ready to be installed. It really looks like a Velocity now. At this point, those who are not familiar with aircraft construction may get the impression that I am just about done with the plane. In truth, though. I have a long way to go. The power plant is barely on and all the plumbing needs to go in. The airframe has a lot of rough edges that needs to be smoothed out. The interior has nothing at this point and, oh, did I mention, I need to paint it, too?
