What's Not So New
Here are the old news that was on the 'What's New' section.
04/09/2004 - Due to some life changing events in my life, I have been taking about 6 months off from working on the project. I am getting ready to re-start the project fairly soon.
The hangar floor is sealed and ready for move in.
I am back in flight status. I am trying to get a some serious flight hours before the completion of the project.
Moved again.
08/15/2003 - It's amazing how fast time passes, isn't it? Here's where we are with N21HV.
The future home for N21HV at KPAE is done. We have a brand new T-hangar waiting for us.
Engine installation is pretty much done.
Still working on electrical wiring. I have ripped out as much wirings as I have put down...
Seats are done. Nice leather-type with seat back pockets, too!
Lot's of surface work done. Lots more to go.
04/02/2002 - Arrrgh! The first quarter of 2002 is already over! Time is flying by and I still have the airplane to build, bills to pay and a boss to keep happy. Web page? Oh, yeah. The web page... I updated up to August and still half a year behind...
01/28/01 - What? 2001 already? Lot's of wires, and some plumbing.
05/27/01 - Oh my! So much work, no time for web page!! The roof is on, tank is sealed, more wires... Check them out. The project is not dead. I have been too busy to update this page. Pesky day job...
06/14/01 - What's in the crate? Why, it's the Franklin engine, and it's here. And it's big! Checkout the Rants section for my rants on why I chose the Franklin.
On 07/19/2000 VelocityBuilder.com reached a milestone. Thuy Pham of San Diego, CA was the official 1000th visitor to this site. In case you're wondering, she wins a ride in my Velocity if and when it really flies. Hey, it's a non-revenue site, O.K.<g>
07/23/00 - Since I am traveling, no building plane for me and lots of site update for you. I gotta kill time in those trans-Pacific flight somehow. This will be a site prop from Japan. Enjoy.
07/26/00 - Preliminary tool list is going online (finally). It's rather ugly for the moment but y'all are going to have to bare with me while I figure out something better.
08/14/00 - The LED panel lights work! Check them out on builder log on 08/13/00
09/07/00 - New section VelocityBuilder dot NET added. Contains links to other Velocity builder page I found on the Net.
09/08/00 - Sometime between 09/07/00 17:00 and 09/08/00 08:30 (PST) we had our 2000th site hit. This in interesting since it took us about eight months to get our first 1000 and about 50 days to go the next 1000. My theory? There's someone out there that is hitting that 'Refresh' button every day<g>. Thanks ya'll for your continued interest!
10/03/00 - Our plane has a designation now. The nameless wonder is now N21HV!
10/16/00 - We had our 3000 site hit this morning. Less than 40 days this time for 1000 hits. Not bad!
11/23/00 - Annual Report is done. Take a look at what I have completer and what I still need to do...
12/01/00 - We've had some site prop issue. That doesn't mean no work was done on the plane. Admittedly, the holiday have slowed down the work a little bit but still, things are moving along. We should get our radios and EFIS soon. Stay tuned!
12/11/00 - EFIS is here! Radios are here! Panel is cut!
