Huh?  It's backward??

     It's good to talk to a fellow builder or factory guys once in a while about what you are doing.  You find your mistakes from inadvertent comments you might make.

     A case in point.  Earlier, I mounted the bell crank for the aileron control cable.  I mounted them the same way on the both sides with the crank pointing up.  My assumption was that there will be a reversing crank somewhere in the control linkage that will push / pull the cable to move the control surfaces in the right direction.  Well, you know what they say about assumptions...

     Well, there is no reversing crank.  As it turns out, ends of the cables are both going to be attached to the same end of the aileron control crank.  The way I had it, both ailerons moved in the same direction.  For those who slept through that part of ground school, that is not good.

     So I re-did it the other way so that it works properly.  The results is not quite as clean as I would like and this may be one of the item that gets fixed later...
